SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Same Day Delivery In Manhattan
Pets On Lex offers $3.99 same day delivery to customers in from East 96th Street to East 42nd Street from East End Avenue to 5th Avenue.
It's a Simple Process:
- Be located between East 96th Street and East 42nd Street.
- Order from our website or call us at (212) 416-0766 before 2:00pm EST Monday through Friday and have it delivered before 9:00pm EST.
- Order at least $40.00 worth of dog and/or cat supplies.
Please note the following conditions apply:
- Same day delivery applies to your minimum online purchase subtotal of $40.00 in eligible in-stock dog and/or cat supplies. (Subtotal refers to amount of order, per shipping address, before taxes and shipping.)
- Orders placed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are not eligible for same day delivery.
- Orders placed after 2:00pm EST or on a weekend will be delivered on the next business day before 9:00pm EST.
- Exchange items may require a $5.99 delivery charge.
- Offer not valid with any other discount or offer. Terms and conditions of this offer are subject to change at the sole discretion of Pets On Lex.
- Same day delivery applies to Manhattan residents with delivery addresses between East 96th Street and East 42nd Street between East End Avenue and 5th Avenue.
Flat Rate $5.99 Ground Shipping on All Standard Purchases Over $50.00.
Please note the following exceptions apply:
$5.99 shipping offer excludes purchases of dog food, cat food, cat litter, out-of-stock items, items requiring special handling, or oversized and overweight items including, but not limited to dog beds, playpens, dog crates, gates, housebreaking pad holders and cat litter boxes.
$5.99 shipping applies to your minimum online purchase subtotal of $50 in eligible products. (Subtotal refers to amount of order, per shipping address, before taxes and shipping.)
The $5.99 shipping discount is based on Standard Ground Shipping only.
Exchange items may require an additional $5.99 ground shipping charge.
$5.99 ground shipping only applies to the contiguous 48 United States. Orders being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and to all international destinations will be charged additional shipping charges.

Standard Delivery Time & Fees
The standard delivery time is 7 to 14 days for in-stock, non-serviced items. Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Please note that oversize items may take longer. Our shipping prices are based on weight and destination and will be calculated upon check out. Orders are charged at the time of shipment. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.
Standard Method of Shipping
All domestic orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, UPS ground or FedEx ground.
We ask that our customers provide shipping addresses that can accept UPS or FedEx shipments (no PO Boxes or APO addresses). If you will not be at your shipping address to sign for your package, we suggest you have your package shipped to your workplace or to an alternate address where someone will be able to sign for it. Pets On Lex cannot be responsible for the loss or any damages to packages delivered without a signature.
If you would like your package to be left without a signature, please indicate this in the message box for your order. Please understand that Pets On Lex cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of packages delivered without a signature.
Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Please allow anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks for delivery and signature confirmation is required. Expedited and Express Delivery options are not available.
If you wish to ship an order internationally, please call us at 212-426-0766 and we will be happy to assist you. Please note that we are sorry, but we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of packages once they are shipped to an international destination. Customers are responsible for any customs charges, taxes and duty charges.
At times we may be able to accommodate rushed orders. Please contact us at 212-426-0766 if you need your order to be rushed and we will attempt to accommodate you. Rush orders include expedited shipping, in-house processing rush and rush ordering through our manufacturers. Please be aware that rush orders will incur an additional fee.
In the event that your order does not arrive within the appropriate delivery time frame, please contact us. You mustnotify us within 30 days of the approximate delivery date so that wemay process a Lost Package Inquiry. We will not be held responsible forfailed deliveriesthat arenot brought to our attention within this time frame.
Non-Deliverable, Refused & Unclaimed Orders
If an order is returned, refused or unclaimed by the customer due to customer refusal, customer negligence/absence, or customer providing incorrect shipping information, the customer will be charged with the appropriate shipping charges along with a 20% restocking fee. Please make sure that the shipping information on your order is correct and that someone will be available to receive your package. All orders that require re-shipping at the request of the customer, whether for returned, refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages, will incur an additional re-shipping charge.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us at 212-426-0766 and we will be happy to correct the problem. Please do not ship the item back as a "Return" without prior authorization as you will be held responsible for any damage.
If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you immediately and inform you of the expected delivery date. Back ordered items are shipped as soon as available.
New York State residents will be charged applicable sales tax on all purchases.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Pets On Lex does not issue refunds for returned merchandise.
If any Pets On Lex online purchase fails to meet your expectations, simply return your merchandise to us in its original and unused condition within 15 days of receipt for a merchandise store credit or exchange. Exclusions apply (Please see Exclusions to Return and Exchange Policy).
Please Note: The customer is responsible for all shipping and packaging costs related to exchanging or returning an item. Pets On Lex cannot accept returns COD or postage due. We do not reimburse any shipping charges incurred.
Exclusions to Return and Exchange Policy: Pets On Lex does not issue store credit and cannot accept returns or exchanges for dog food, dog treats, cat food, cat treats, cat litter, beds, carriers, bakery items, muzzles, special orders, custom orders, items that have been used, opened, or are not in original new condition, sale, personalized and perishable items. We are not responsible for any damage that is caused by your pet to the merchandise.
Apparel, Collar and Harness Returns: Pets On Lex encourages the customer to accurately measure their pet for apparel, collars and harnesses using the sizing chart found on their website. Pets On Lex will allow one complimentary exchange per apparel, collar and/or harness order*. After one exchange, each exchange will incur a re-stocking and shipping & handling fee of $15.00 per item.
*One complimentary exchange applies to apparel, collars and harnesses only.
*All exchanges for international orders will be charged an international shipping fee based on the items exchanged.
Special Order Items
Special Orders consist of those items that are permanently personalized in any way, including but not limited to items that are, monogrammed, engraved (i.d. tags), custom sized, altered and those that are not a standard stock item. We urge you to read the description of each item as Special Orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
How and Where to Return Products: Please ship the unused product in its original packaging with all accompanying materials (instructions, warranties, manuals, documentation, accessories, etc.) and completed Returns Form to the following address within 15 days from the date your received your order:

For your protection, we suggest you send your return via UPS, Federal Express, or by US Postal Service with insurance and delivery confirmation for trackingpurposes. Pets On Lex cannot accept returns COD or postage due. We do not reimburse any shipping, packaging or handling charges incurred by the customer.
Please Note: We do not issue store credit, and cannot honor exchanges for any merchandise that is sent back to us postmarked after 15 days (commencing from the date you receive your order). Items postmarked after 15 days will not be accepted for exchange or return and will be shipped back to the customer.
